A Busy Week

It has been a very busy week in Crossroads this week with lots of special activities that we do not normally have.

Our busiest day was Tuesday.  In the morning we went on a class trip to Barton Grange.  We saw lots of different decorations that were the whole range of colours.  There were also lots of lights to see.  We really enjoyed the moving bears, penguins and big advent calendar.  It was a delight to see all that there was in a real winter wonderland.  We even managed to spot a special man in red.

In the afternoon it was the annual tinsel trolley dash.  As a school we brought in 606 items that will be given to families in our community that have a need for this at this time of year.  As well as helping others we also had a lot of fun taking part in different games.  We had come to school in Christmas themed jumpers.  The teachers had to be turned into trees as well as the children having lots of fun!

Also within the week we have had Christmas lunch on Wednesday and watched the upper school music sharing on Thursday.

Have a great weekend and we look forward to seeing all the children on Monday.
